Hey, if you don't know what
WhatPulse
is, it's a small program which will count the key presses, mouse clicks
and the distance your mouse moves. It then "pulses" these statistics to
the web site and puts you in a leader board.
This web site is not affilated with WhatPulse.
What's that got to do with this site?
Well WhatPulse did link to another
web site which offered banners for signature images. However, this site
has been down for months, so I have decided to create a banner site of my
own. While I have only intended it for me personally, I've tried to add
some settings for customising signatures and a login feature to allow
others in the same predicament to create banners for posting to forum
signatures, blog profiles, web sites and so on. Look on the right for
some examples.
So far 14 people are using this web site to generate
14 banners, which have received 87,916 hits overall. That's 6,279.71 hits per banner, or 6,279.71 hits per user.

Small Update

Hey all, just made a small update to the project.
The banners are now cached locally to improve performance. This is because some people's browsers don't seem to be caching the images even though my server requests it.
Banners will be cached for 6 hours, which is also how long the statistics are also cached for when pulled from WP.
